How to Measure Jacket Size
For accurate results, take measurements close to your body — not over clothing. A cloth measuring tape works best. You can ask someone to help for greater precision.
Chest Measurement
Wrap the measuring tape under your armpits, at the fullest part of your chest. Stand up straight and relax — do not puff out your chest. Leave just enough room to move comfortably (no more than 1 inch / 2.5 cm of ease). For women, measure at the widest part of the bust.
Height Measurement (Men)
Stand barefoot against a flat wall. Place a book flat on top of your head and mark the wall. Measure from the floor to the mark. This is your body height.
Hip Measurement (Women)
Wrap the measuring tape around the fullest part of your hips and buttocks. Keep your feet together for the most precise result.

US vs EU Jacket Sizes — What's the Difference?
There is no single global sizing standard for jackets. Most producers worldwide use either the US or the European system:
- US sizes — use letter codes (XXS, XS, S, M, L, XL, XXL, 3XL, etc.)
- EU sizes — use even numbers (40, 42, 44, 46 … for women; 40, 42, 44 … 72 for men)
Use our jacket size calculator as an instant US–EU jacket size converter. Simply enter your measurements once and get both systems at the same time.
