Inputs Explained
- Unit System — American (imperial) or Metric. Changes the suggested default pack sizes and costs for each product type.

- Cost Per Pack — How much one package costs in your selected currency.
- Periods Per Year — Most people have 12–13 menstrual periods per year. The default is 13.

Using the Calculator for Reusable Products
For menstrual cups (which typically last 5–10 years) or period underwear (which lasts 1–2 years), use the "products per period" field to represent a fractional value. For example, if one cup costs $35 and lasts 10 years (130 periods), set products per period to 0.008 (1 ÷ 130), pack size to 1, and pack cost to $35. The pre-filled defaults already account for this with approximate values.
